The laboratory is currently in the process of special recruiting of the particularly capable international students who seek to enroll in doctoral programs in October 2024. It is expected, but not ensured, that selected students can obtain scholarships provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) in Japan. Any potential applicants are welcome to contact Prof. Usami no later than the 18th of September.

At the international conference on Substantive Future Rights to be held in a hybrid way on the 30th and 31st of March, Prof. Usami will make a presentation on philosophical issues surrounding the idea of posterity's rights.
